The objective of this work was to prepare an exhaustive, instructive, annotated bibliography for the teaching of Greek as a second/foreign language. 

The bibliography includes all the available textbooks for this purpose, used either in Greece or abroad, supplementary or support material, books about teaching Greek, articles, doctoral dissertations, special research papers, and papers presented at conferences in Greece and abroad. Each bibliographical entry also provides useful information on how to locate and/or obtain and on how to use the resource it describes. 

This bibliography is an indispensable tool for everyone (teachers and researchers alike) who deal with Greek as a foreign/second language. 

The Bibliography is accessible on the Internet (http://www.media.uoa.gr/language/gafl/), in the form of a specially designed database that enables searches based on the author, the subject, keywords, etc.
