During the summer 2014, the central and peripheral KESPEMs offered summer classes and activities to younger and older kids. The classes for the primary school pupils lasted from 18 June to 20 July. Some sections didn't have a pause between winter and summer season.
On the other hand, the classes for re-sit pupils started on 17 August, and ended on 9 September. In total, in the summer classes at the KESPEMs took part 846 students (486 in the Computer Assisted Greek Language Classes, 119 in the Pedagogical Activities for Pre-School Kids and 241 in the preparation for Re-sit Pupils)
In summer 2015, the classes and the pedagogical activities for younger and older pupils continued at the KESPEMs. The classes started gradually on 1 June and lasted on 27 July. In addition, the summer classes for Re-sit pupils were held from 18 to 30 August (except from two sectors that finished on September 1st)
Special emphasis was given on the cultivation of "love of reading" by utilize specific literary books and on the preparation for the next school year. As far as the re-sit pupils are concerned special emphasis was given on the enhancement of self-confidence and their familiarization with oral speech in the class.
In total, during the summer classes at the KESPEM were registered 712 students of which participated regularly 516 (431 were registered and 278 participated regularly in the Computer Assisted Greek-Language Classes, 83 were registered and 47 participated regularly in the Pedagogical Activities for Pre-school kids and 198 were registered and 191 participated regularly in the preparation for re-sit pupils)
